New for Assumption this year will be the ability to report your child’s absence by email as well as by phone.
If your child will be absent, an email can now be sent directly to the Attendance Secretary at:
Regular attendance policies still apply – If a student is absent, the school must be notified by a phone call/email from a parent or guardian or from the student if 18 years or older, or a note of explanation is to be brought to the Attendance Secretary upon the return to school. A message may also be recorded between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. daily by phoning 905-634-9241.
If a student must attend an appointment during school time, he or she must report to the Attendance office to sign out. Students must report to the Attendance office to sign in when they return to school from their appointment.
