Sears Drama Festival
A friendly competition held between high schools in both the public and catholic boards of student run, acted and (ideally) written and directed plays, that are between 15-50 minutes in length. The week long festival changes its venue every year and culminates in a banquet and award ceremony. The top plays move on to represent the Halton district at a regional festival to further compete. The plays are judged and adjudicated publicly and privately by an outside, experienced person in the field of theatre.
